LED tube lights replaces traditional fluorescent tubes.
Applications of LED tube lights:
Office Lighting, Hotels and Restaurants, Shopping Mall, Home Lighting, Hospitals, Schools, Collages, Supermarkets, Shops, Indoor Lighting, Parking lots, Commercial Lighting, Industrial facilities, Industrial Lighting, Common Area Lighting, Public areas.
Let's see what are the dis-advantages of fluorescent tube:
Fluorescent tube lights are generally found in institutions, garages, shops, offices and many other places. However, fluorescent lamp tubes may have many disadvantages like easily broken filaments, short life time, flickering light (flickering triggers eye strain plus some ultraviolet radiation). another dis-advantage of Fluorescent tube lights the ends of tube can easily turn black over time and thus restricting the light output.
Now let's see about LED tube lights:
LEDs are assembled on one or maybe more printed circuit boards. The LED circuit board is usually enclosed within a housing. This includes a transparent plastic housing and also a metallic housing. So, LED Tube light was very strong over fluorescent tube lights. The metallic part of the housing behaves as a heat dissipater. More resistant and robust in cold environments than normal fluorescent tubes. Good LED tube lights are hassle-free lights, Flicker free, maintenance free and energy efficient. The operational lifetime of our LED tube lights is 30,000 to 50,000 operation hours, which implies very less replacements compared to fluorescent tubes. There is no starting circuit is require with LED Tube lights.
Construction:
The LEDs are placed between a heat sink and a clear or translucent cover. The LEDs are electrically connected to the circuit board and attached to the lower side of the circuit board. The LEDs could be in either parallel or series circuit array. The power supply is located on the upper side of the circuit board and connected to the lighting component. Two independent electric connectors are mounted at the ends of the LED tube light. If you open LED tube light and look inside of LED tubes, you will find a PCB (printed circuit board), where LEDs and power supply components are mounted. The power supply converts the alternating (AC) voltage to into direct (DC) voltage. LEDs requires to regulate the direct current.
LED tube lights are available in different lengths:
1 feet or 30 cm
2 feets or 60 cm
4 feets or 120 cm
5 feets or 150 cm.
